C2C baby blanket

I made some items for our local county fair and this baby blanket placed 4th.  It was a gift for a friend and she will be having her baby girl in the next few days.  Hopefully she likes it!!!

It was a c2c blanket and I love to colors and how they look together.

Messy bun beanies

I have been making messy bun beanies like crazy!  I have been making them for Christmas gifts, after Christmas, just making them every night for all my wonderful friends.  There are so many different colors that I love and that I am wanting to make an extra or myself as well.  I am still taking orders for them.

Earwarmers

I am always at football games, basketball games, outside in general, so I need something to cover my ears when I am out in the cold.  I have made this with solid colors and have made it into a football earwarmer, softball and baseball.  I am looking at making it into a basketball too.  I hope that you enjoy making these too!  Remember, you are starting out the first row by half double crocheting (hdc) around the ponytail holder.

Football ear warmer
Size H hook 5.0

Row 1 - 8 hdc around the ponytail holder. Ch 1 and turn.  (8)

Row 2-7 - hdc 8. Ch 1 and turn. (8)

Row 8 - hdc increase in the first stitch and the last stitch. Ch 1 and turn. (10)

Row 9 - hdc increase in the first stitch and the last stitch.Ch 1 and turn.  (12)

Row 10-14 - hdc in each stitch. Ch 1 and turn.  (12)

Row 15-16 - change to white and hdc in each stitch. Ch 1 and turn. (12)

Row 17-26 - change back to brown and hdc in each stitch. Ch 1 and turn. (12)

Row 27-28 - change to white and hdc in each stitch. Ch 1 and turn. (12)

Row 29-33 - Change back to brown then hdc in each stitch. Ch 1 and turn. (12)

Row 34 - hdc decrease at the beginning and the end. Ch 1 and turn. (10)

Row 35 - hdc decrease at he beginning and the end Ch 1 and turn. (8)

Row 36-40 - hdc in each stitch across. Ch 1 and turn. (8)

Row 41 - sc each stitch around the ponytail holder and weave the end in then fasten off.

Take a long string and make the stitching of the football and fasten at the back.

I would love to see your pictures!  You have the ability to make it longer and not put the ponytail holder in it.  Or you can put a button so the it can be adjusted.  This pattern is just limitless.

Christmas gifts-Snowbound Throw

My Black Friday.... I want one of these for myself!!! I need to figure out what colors I want and get after it, after Christmas. 💙 This one will end up being about 60 inches wide, which is enough to cuddle with. We will see how long it ends up being. I'm going to crochet until I'm happy with the length.

Christmas gifts

One thing I do to relax is crochet. I picked it up a couple years ago because I wanted to have dish scrubbers for my kitchen. I moved on to scarves, beanies, ear warmers, and have recently started making blankets. I love the feeling of a crochet blanket, although I still haven't made one for myself. They all have been given away as gifts. I do have a a few patterns I want for myself, but Christmas is coming up so I'm working on Christmas gifts right now. Right now I'm working on a blanket that I love, the Snowbound Throw. I changed the measurements to make it larger and able to be cuddled in more. I have made this in ivory and buttercream but I'm loving it in Ocean. I used, of course, Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn and it feels like butter as I'm working with it. I look forward to showing you the finished product. 💙

C2C baby blanket

My latest creation! A baby blanket in gray, white, and navy. I loved the edging and the look of the blanket! It measured 32"x42". I used greybeard from Hobby Lobby and the navy and white from Redheart Yarns.

Snowbound throw

I am all for giving homemade gifts and love receiving them too! This is my latest gift for a gorgeous couple who is getting married in a couple of weeks!  You can find the pattern here: http://www.redheart.com/free-patterns/snowbound-throw

I used Hobby Lobby's I love this yarn in ivory. Although I made this for someone else, I think I'm going to have to make my own soon!
